Phillip Hughes established
PHD Chartered Town Planners in 1995 having worked in local
government planning for 10 years gaining substantial experience
of both Planning Policy and Development Control.
He has a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in Town and Country Planning
(BA[Hons]) and has been a corporate member of the Royal Town Planning
Institute (MRTPI) since 1990. As well as a Professional Certificate in
Management
Practice(Cert.Mgt.) and a Diploma in Management Science (Dip Man) he
is also a member of the Institute of Management (MIMgt.) and the Town
and
Country Planning Association (TCPA)

PHD represent
a wide variety of clients ranging from Local Planning Authorities,
house builders, developers, businesses, third parties and householders.
Projects have include
a new £10m leisure centre in Hertfordshire, residential
development schemes throughout the south of England, commercial
developments including offices and retail, changes of use of
buildings and land, barn conversions and local plan representations.
We also advise and
represent a number of local planning authorities in respect
of appeals, residential development and Gypsy site appeals
and enforcement
matters.
PHD represents clients
on sites throughout the UK, operating primarily in the south
east of England.
